I Play Exacta Boxes
In races with 3 selections the total cost will be $6 for a $1 bet
In races with 4 selections the total cost will be $12 for a $1 bet
The Win Candidates are in order from our top pick to our fourth (or third).
However, we root for the two biggest prices to run 1st and 2nd as it helps our payoffs in our exacta boxes.
It does not matter to me if it is our top pick or our fourth- I am trying to make money!

Selections 6-5-4 Rating ⭐⭐
#6 Midtown Lights-showed speed and missed by only 2 in her debut then by just 2 ¾ last out in her second start with both races coming on the turf. Trainer Cox switches this filly to the dirt today which is a 31% winning move for him. He removes the blinkers, a 33% winning move and has the one to beat.
#5 Fema Funds-ran evenly in her debut to finish 4th. Trainer Rice is hitting at 24% with her maidens in their second start and this one should improve.
#4 Loon Cry-first timer from the Clement barn who is hitting at 17% with his debut runners. This one is working well and seems to have caught a weak MSW for her debut.

- 7 8 ML 9-2 Diva Banker K. Davis 120 Lbs R. Handal $25,000 L
Selections 1-6-7-5 Rating ⭐⭐
#1 The Entry-#1 That Is Key- is coming off an 8 length romp over this track for 12.5k. She doubles up to 25k and that is a good sign. #1A Viradia-pressed the pace and got the money last out while being claimed for 16k. Trainer is hitting at 22% with his claims in their first start and moves this one up to 25k.
#6 Quality Stones-drew off to win by 8 for 20k two back then showed speed but did not fire against tougher. She drops down in class and that makes her the one to beat.
#7 Diva Banker-finished just a length and a half behind #1A last out while making just her second start in 4 months. She needed that one and should be a decent price.
#5 Beautiful Karen-pressed the pace and finished second two back and was claimed this same 25k level then showed speed last out before stopping against tougher. She drops back down, adds blinkers, gets a rider upgrade to Saez and will improve.

- 8 8 ML 9-2 Steerage D. Davis 122 Lbs B. Brown $40,000 L
Selections 6-5-7-4 Rating ⭐⭐
#6 Built to Last-went wire to wire to win at this same level two back but was disqualified. Trainer Morley was suspended 10 days and fined $1,000 for the presence of phenylbutazone in the post-race sample. “Regrettably, during the Saratoga meet of 2022, one of my horses, Built to Last, returned an overage for the permissible medication Phenylbutazone. In what was quite clearly human error, this remains a deeply upsetting occurrence. As such, I will be serving a 10-day suspension from Oct. 13-22 and will be complying entirely with the NYSGC ruling as well as reviewing our operating systems to ensure that this never happens again.” NOTE: that was his first ever violation I believe him to be a solid trainer who just made a mistake.
#5 Central Pride-finished second last out at this same level while running his best race to date. Trainer adds blinkers, a 23% winning move for him and cuts him back in distance which is a big 33% winning move for him and has the one to beat.
#7 Callaloo-broke slow and was 11th early some 13 lengths back but put in a solid run to finish 5th beaten just 6 lengths. He gets more ground today and does not have to be that far back.
#4 Chief Engineer-made the lead from the #10 post last out and fought hard to miss by just half a length in his best effort to date. He moves up in class and will show his speed again today.

Selections 1-2-4-3 Rating ⭐⭐
#1 Kadri-finished third last out beaten just 2 ¾ lengths in his best effort to date while making his first start over this track. He races at the same level and looks like the one to beat. #1A-Monday Morning Qb-would be an added bonus but if the plan #1 scratches then moved this one down to pick #4
#2 Hero Tiger-rallied to get the money in a stake last out on a sloppy track at Churchill while running his best race to date. He gets I.Ortiz and has been in the money in 34 of his 52 career starts.

#3 Bourbonic-is coming off a year layoff for Pletcher but he is hitting at 21% with his runners coming off a break and this one has won 3 of 5 over the track.

#4 Arctic Arrogance-fast colt has gone wire to wire in two of his three career starts with a second in between. He is coming off a win in a stake over this track and will be close from the start.
#2 Tuskegee Airmen-is a perfect two for two to begin his career and is clearly the one to beat.

#2 What a Dude-rallied to break his maiden two back and was claimed for 40k by Jacobson. He then rallied to miss by just a length and ¾ last out against a tougher allowance field in his best effort to date. Trainer adds blinkers and sent out a winner for us yesterday.
#3 Be the Boss-missed by a neck two back and was claimed for 32k. New trainer moved him up to this same level last out and he pressed the pace before finishing 4th. He cuts back in distance and that will help his chances.
#9 Gaslight-came off a 3 month layoff last out and missed by just 2 at this same level. He gets more ground today and that will help his chances at a price.
#5 Major Spin-made the lead last out but had to settle for second while being claimed for 40k. New trainer is hitting at 22% with his claims in their first start and this one should be close from the break.
