However, we root for the two biggest prices to run 1st and 2nd as it helps our payoffs in our exacta boxes. It does not matter to me if it is our top pick or our fourth- I am trying to make money!

#2 Fire Baron-broke a step slow in his debut and ran evenly to finish 5th on the turf at Saratoga last out. He is one of two in here from the Maker barn who is hitting at a big 26% here (8 for 31). This colt gets I.Oritz and looks to start us off on a winning note.

#5 Route Runner-finished second in his debut last out. Trainer Asmussen is hitting at 23% with his maidens in their second start and this one should improve.

#7 Good Heart-first timer from the Walsh barn is working well for his debut. He is coming off a 2nd fastest work of 84 others at Ellis and shows a bullet work best of 92 others 3 weeks ago.

#9 Father Delay-The other Maker runner. This colt broke 11th of 12 last out but put in a little run to finish 5th. He gets more ground today, adds blinkers, gets KY Downs leading rider and should improve at a solid price.

#7 Baj-came off a 6 month layoff last out and fought for the lead before finishing second to a repeat winner. Trainer is hitting at 21% with his runners in their second start back and this gelding should be a decent price.

#5 French Composer– rallied to miss by only 3 in his debut while going 6f. He switches to the turf for the first time a 27% winning move for trainer and stretches out which is a 33% winning move for Evans.

#1 Push Button-First timer from the Maker barn is working well for his debut. I.Ortiz who rode our top pick last out takes the mount on this one and that must mean something.

#2 Final Belle-came off a 2 month layoff and got left in the gate but came running to miss by only 2 lengths then showed speed last out, got in front late but had to settle for second missing by just a length and a quarter. She is making her third start back today and should b ready for her best.

#11 Golden Sights-fought for the lead every step of the way last out but came up half a length short in second while making her first turf start. She needed that one and is the one to beat.

#6 Berate-beat our top pick two back then finished just 2 lengths behind that rival last out. She will come running late and should be in the payoffs.

#1 She’s Gone-rallied to break her maiden two back then missed the repeat last out by just a neck. This 200k filly is improving and should be a good price.

#8 Gufo-has run well in four straight grade 1 stakes winning one of them with his biggest margin of defeat being 4 lengths. He will come running late and is always the one to beat.

#1 Red Knight-rallied to get the sore last out while coming off an 11 month layoff. He shows finishing just a length behind our top pick last year and just a length and a quarter two years ago. He will be a big price and runs for Maker.

#3 Temple– one of the other Maker runners. This one missed by just a length and a half last out in his tune up for this race. He keeps J.Ortiz and will come running late.
